When you experience a bereavement, you are on a rollercoaster of emotion. It is a very surreal time. You may feel like you just don’t know where to start. Don't worry.  I will be on hand to reassure and support you throughout.  

By selecting me as your funeral celebrant, you will have the service you want in the way you want it.

My role is to listen, to care for and look after the needs of you and your grieving family at this time.   I will capture the sentiments, memories, experiences and anecdotes that you wish to share about your loved one’s life. Very often we discover more about their achievements and passions. It will be my privilege to craft a memorable tribute and deliver a farewell service that they would have wanted. I will tell their unique story, honouring and celebrating their character. 

You may decide to include some poems, prayers, hymns or special music pieces. You may wish have photos or keepsakes as part of the service which represent your loved one.  I will be able to advise and guide you through every step of the ceremony. I will be mindful that I respectfully follow your wishes and those of the deceased.  The service will reflect their life, bringing comfort and peace and giving the space to gently begin the healing journey. 

As your chosen celebrant I am here to ensure that your loved one has the farewell ceremony that they truly deserve. 

You can book me directly as your celebrant or your funeral director will appoint me.

We will speak on the phone and agree a time to talk through your hopes and plans for the service which may be held at a crematorium, chapel, graveside or a venue of your choice. You may be planning a funeral or a memorial. We can arrange all the details over telephone calls and emails. We can meet in person at your home or at a place you choose.

 Other family members may wish to contribute to and engage in this process.  We will talk through all the different aspects of the ceremony. You may like some suggestions of text and music which I can help with.  I will write up all that you would like included and together we will create an order of service that fits your wishes. 

There may be family and friends who for various reasons cannot attend the service on the day. Don't worry. Webcast facilities are often available and via a webcam link they can join and feel present and included.  Crematoria generally have excellent audio-visual services too which means you can have a visual tribute too.
